The Nook

The Nook is a portable sun trap that I have spent a lot of time enjoying! Take it seaside, riverside or mountainside for maximum relaxation. It's 4WD so you can confidently get to a few wild places that others can't reach. Please follow the SHAREaCAMPER guidelines about staying on public roads and definitely no salt allowed (no beach or estuary)!

Located in the Top of The South, a convenient starting point for a South Island road trip or simply explore the beautiful Nelson Bays area. I may be able to pick you up from Nelson airport if that's how you're planning to travel here, just ask. Note there will be an additional cost for airport shuttle to cover fuel and travel time ($40 each way).

This camper has a permanent double bed installed, with storage underneath and a basic kitchen setup in the back. It contains everything you need for one or two people to camp comfortably, including bedding and blackout curtains, cutlery, cooker and fresh water storage.

It's an older model and definitely has character, but it's reliable and all in working order with a good heater / air conditioner, 12V charger and stereo with AUX cable.

Please liaise with the owner to arrange a mutually suitable time and location for Pick Up/Drop Off.

The vehicle is insured by the SHAREaCAMPER Insurance.

The security bond for this vehicle is NZD 3,000.00. It can be reduced to NZD 500.00 by selecting the Bond Saver Package. The security bond of the selected package will only be taken out of your credit card in the event of a damage to the vehicle, its chattels or damage to any third-party property.
