Motorhome Rental & Campervan Hire Blenheim
Campervan hire in Blenheim
Particularly if you’re arriving by ferry at Picton, Blenheim is your gateway to the wineries of New Zealand. One of the country’s sunniest towns – and warmest, as the surrounding mountains keep the sun’s heat from escaping – Blenheim is an excellent base from which to explore New Zealand’s best vineyards via foot or bike, not to mention to explore the beautiful coastline and the sea wildlife of the Marlborough Sounds.

And then what? Campervan hire in Blenheim
The Blenheim Top 10 Holiday Park is an excellent base for your explorations of Marlborough. Conveniently located along State Highway 1 less than 2 km from central Blenheim, this park is equipped with numerous bikes to hire so that you can explore the wine regions with ease – and take real advantage of the delicious meals and wines the region offers. There are numerous free carparks in Blenheim to ease your exploration of the city, though only the Fire Station carpark with access from Symons Street has no time restrictions. If you need to leave your car for an extended period, you can park at the Marlborough Airport just west of Blenheim for $10 a day. Blenheim is seated at the intersection of State Highway 1, which follows the South Island’s eastern coastline to connect northernmost Picton with southernmost Invercargill, and State Highway 63, which is west- and mountain-bound, following the picturesque Wairau Valley between the Mount Richmond Forest and Nelson Lakes National Parks. To get onto State Highway 63, follow State Highway 6 west out of town and stay left at the intersection in Renwick. Before you head out of Blenheim, you can stock up on groceries at the Countdown or Pak’n Save on State Highway 6, but if you have the time to plan ahead, the Marlborough Farmer’s Market is highly recommended.
